School Age Child Care

The School Age Child Care Program is available to you through your school district and delivered and administered by the Two Rivers YMCA.

The School Age Child Care Program is full of excitement and challenges. Staff members plan each day with new and exciting activities which develop spirit, mind and body. Our goal is for each child to feel successful about his/her accomplishments. The staff plan special themes designed to add different activities and challenges each week.

The goals of the program are:

to provide quality care for children
to support the needs of the family unit
to help children develop to their fullest potential
to assist with academic achievement
to foster fitness and physical skills
to deliver the program in a positive YMCA environment of safety, support, and care
to offer activities that encourage confidence and feelings of self-worth
to provide the children with an environment which promotes the core values of caring, honesty,
respect and responsibility
to promote the 40 Developmental Assets
to provide the children with nutritional snacks

School's Out Club

If you are looking for a place to take your child during the school year when they are out for the day, the YMCA provides School's Out Clubs for a fun and safe environment for your children. The program runs from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm. The YMCA School Age Child Care Staff will keep your children busy and entertained with sports, arts and crafts, games, movies and swimming. An afternoon snack is provided. Children must bring a sack lunch and a swim suit and towel. School's Out Club is available during school holidays and institute days. A separate fee is charged.

There is an additional fee for early dismissal and half days. Our program is not available when school is closed due to inclement weather.

Holiday Fun Club

Do your kids need a place to have fun over the holiday break? YMCA staff will keep your kids busy with swimming, sports and games, making arts and crafts, watching holiday movies, and much more fun! Afternoon snacks are provided. Each children must bring a sack lunch, swimsuit and towel.
