Wellness Center
Wellness includes healthy mental, social, spiritual, and physical behaviors resulting in positive health that exceeds the state of simply being free from disease. A person displaying wellness has high levels of cardiorespiratory function and mental alertness, meaningful social relationships, positive spiritual behaviors, desirable levels of fat, strength, and flexibility, and a healthy low back.
Wellness at the Two Rivers YMCA steps away from the quick-fixes, fad diets, and other short-sighted views of attaining good health. To achieve wellness in life the focus must be on the long-term and not only how good health affects you, but also the ones you love most.
The Community Wellness Department at the Two Rivers YMCA looks forward to improving the overall health of our community. Programs provided educate participants concerning positive health behaviors that can be maintained thought out a lifetime and will enhance spirit, mind and body.
Our Community Wellness Executive is available to speak to your group on health and wellness topics and offer information about our facility and services available to our community. We are also available to set up a wellness program for your employees.
