Conveniently located at your school, the Y’s Before & After School Care program is full of excitement and challenges. Staff members plan each day with new and exciting activities which develop spirit, mind, and body. Our goal is for each child to feel successful about his/her accomplishments.

This program runs from 6:30 am until the morning bell and school dismissal until 5:30 pm.

After School Care is also offered when school is dismissed early for a half day. (However, if a school is dismissed early due to weather or an emergency there will be NO After School Care. If a school announces a late start due to weather or an emergency, there will be NO Before School Care.)

Looking for a place to take your child when school is out for the day (due to intercession, institute day, holiday, seasonal break, etc.)? The School's Out Club (SOC) at the Two Rivers YMCA provides children in grades K through 6th with fun, safe, supervised activities from 6:30 am until 5:30 pm. Our staff will keep your children busy with sports, arts, crafts, games, swimming (bring a swimsuit and towel!), and movies. An afternoon snack and lunch are provided through Nourish, a youth nutrition collaborative.

This program is also offered on days when school is cancelled due to inclement weather for Moline, East Moline, and Rock Island Schools.
