Amos Johnson
Youth Development Director
Amos is a lifelong resident of the Quad Cities. He is an Alum of Rock Island High School. After high school, he attended William Penn University and achieved a degree in Sports Management w/ a Minor in Business Administration.
Amos joined the YMCA recently as the Youth Development Director and will oversee the Youth programs that promote character development. Prior to becoming the Youth Development Director, Amos held the position of Engaging Males Advocate at family resources where he worked with underserved populations and at risk youth. He is involved in various community service projects, behavior reform ventures, and is on the board for the Group Violence Intervention initiative in the Quad Cities.
In his spare time he enjoys sports, fitness, and working on his growing local organization Just AIM.
