Class Descriptions

Group Exercise Classes "on land"

Free with membership, our land-based group exercise classes offer a variety of options for fun and fitness. From relaxing stretching and strengthening to heart-pounding cardio action, you can find a class that makes exercise anything but routine. 

All classes are open to ages 13 years and older. Ages 8-12 who have passed a Youth Wellness Orientation may participate at the discretion of the instructor.

Les Mills BodyAttack

This sports-inspired cardio workout builds stamina and strength by combining athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises.

Les Mills BodyCombat

​LES MILLS BARRE is a modern version of classic balletic training. This 30-minute workout is designed to shape and tone postural muscles, build core strength, and allow you to escape the everyday. Incorporating classic ballet positions, with modern music, It’s a combination of cardio and strength with high reps of small range-of-motion movements and very light weights.​

This 3-in-1 workout combines varied impact cardio with strength and core exercises.  Weight plates, resistance tubes, and bodyweight exercises will strengthen your heart, lungs, and muscles.

Les Mills RPM

The indoor cycling workout where you control the intensity. It's fun, low impact and with great music pumping and the group spinning as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding.

Active Older Adult Classes

Silver Sneakers Classic

Improve your strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance with this blend of physical activity, healthy lifestyle, and socially oriented programming. Weights, tubing, and ball are used for resistance. Seated or standing options.  (Ages 65+)

Silver Sneakers Circuit

SilverSneakers Circuit workout offers standing, low-impact choreography alternated with standing upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball. A chair is available for standing support.  (Ages 50+)

 

 


Group Exercise Classes "in water"

Take advantage of the buoyancy of water to enhance physical fitness. Water exercise increases physical strength and endurance without putting stress and strain on joints. Swimmers and non-swimmers alike can take part in water exercise classes from relaxing yoga-like movements in the warm pool to high energy movements in the deep end of the cool pool.

Slow & Easy

This warm pool class brings you benefits from low impact exercises and stretches. Especially designed for those with limited joint motion or cardio respiratory function.

Shallow Water Exercise

Come and join the fun! You will experience a wide variety of exercises that include dance, kickboxing, jogging, and toning. Intensity and impact can be varied on an individual basis.

Deep Water Exercise

A zero-impact deep water workout! Get a great cardio workout while you strengthen, tone, and increase flexibility. Intensity is easily adjusted for all levels of fitness. 

AI CHI

The focus is on spirit, mind, and body with flowing exercise and relaxation. Ai Chi uses a combination of deep breathing and slow, broad movements of the arms, legs, and torso. The results are improved range of motion and overall mobility.

Power Moves Aquatic Training

This high voltage hour will burn calories and build endurance! Classes will alternate with High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and High Energy Aquatic Training (HEAT). Great music, motivating instructors, and a fantastic workout!

Wrap up your day with a warm water workout designed to strengthen, tone, stretch, and soothe. One instructor will lead the workout for both shallow and deep water participants, and you decide which section of the pool is best for you.
