Lauren first joined the Two Rivers YMCA in 2016 as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor, and now brings nearly a decade of experience in aquatics and water safety instruction to her role. As the Aquatics Director at the Moline-East Moline YMCA, she oversees aquatics programs, lifeguard staff development, and pool operations to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all members.
Lauren began her aquatics career at Lutheran Outdoor Ministries Center in 2016 and has since worked with YMCAs and various youth programs across Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Washington, building a diverse skill set in all things aquatics! She is an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor, a YMCA of the USA Trainer, and a Certified Pool Operator.
During her free time, Lauren enjoys paddleboarding, kayaking, and exploring the great outdoors with her three adventure cats. Her passion for youth development and water safety is at the heart of everything she does, and she’s excited to share that enthusiasm with members and families at the Y.
