Meet Two Rivers YMCA member, Holly Robbins-York!

Holly is a single mother of six, with four still at home. While struggling to provide the best life possible for her kids, Holly realized that she can do fun activities with her family without having to spend a lot of money.
That is when she decided to put them in sports at the Y. Holly realized that just attending the practices and games on the sidelines wasn't enough for her. She started to volunteer as a coach for soccer, flag football, and basketball because she feels that all kids need a positive role model and she wanted to give them the best experience possible.

While coaching, Holly put her whole heart into it. She makes sure they learn as much as they can in the short time they have together. She also rewards them at the end with special treats and just makes the entire experience so much fun! It's amazing how much impact Holly has in a child's life in such a short period of time.

We're thankful for members like Holly who go the extra step past caring for their own well-being onto caring for others through volunteering!
