Head Coach and Director of Rowing - Bass Street YMCA

Kara joined Bass Street Y in 2023 as the Head Coach and Director of Rowing Operations. She comes to us from the East Coast where she gained extensive experience coaching both junior and master rowers in sculling and sweeps boats across a variety of experience levels. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Assumption University in Psychology and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Nutrition Education from American University. When she isn’t on the water, Kara can be found participating in marathons, triathlons, cycling events, and playing with her dog, Kona
